Stereo/Media Cabinet.
Traditional. Solid cherry with figured cherry veneers. Classical architectural details.
Art Deco.
Curly maple and wenge. Inspired by a piece briefly glimpsed in Burt Lancaster's bedroom in the film: Atlantic City.
Bubinga Cabinet.
A classic Chinese type: a bijou
Lacquer over birch.
These clients had a house full of Chinese furniture. The cabinet was to contain sheet music and was finished with piano lacquer to match the grand piano.
Dresser. White Oak.
I love the Chinese idiom and the chance to hang drawers wood on wood.
Sideboard.
Mahogany. A copy of Greene and Geene's Thorsen house piece.
Computer desk and credenza.
White Oak. All the bells and whistles: clamshell doors, pencil drawers and a fan for the CPU.
Sideboard.
Sycamore. A very feminine piece: blonde on blond.
