Since 1983 I have designed and built custom furniture for private clients, designers, and architects.

I am conversant in a number of different furniture styles: the sleekly contemporary, Art Deco, traditional Chinese Forms, Arts and Crafts in the manner of Greene and Greene.

I practice a wide range of techniques from veneering with the latest vacuum technology to the hand carving of a Queen Anne style ball-and-claw foot.

Materials are carefully selected and combined to enhance form; Veneers are laid up to establish a rhythm that emphasizes a piece's proportion. Each decision is made with an eye to the harmony of the whole.
